Florida High School - High Tech is designed to:
Promote technology-based careers and education for youth with disabilities between the ages of 14 and 22. Its purpose is to encourage these young
people to explore their own interests and potential in science, technology,
engineering and math, with the ultimate goal to help them aim for college
and a degree in their chosen field.

Program Goals:

• Motivate students to explore their interests and potential.
  
• Encourage those students interests in high tech careers to aim for post secondary education in a technical center for college.
  
• Help students with disabilities become independent, productive member of the technology driven workforce
  of the twenty-first century.
  
• Help professionals to better understand uses of assistive technology and the accommodation and facility access needs of person with disabilities.
