How to Donate

Donating a vehicle to Goodwill Industries is a donor-friendly process. You can either drop it off during regular operating at our Auto Sales & Donation Center located at 3333 Fowler Street in Fort Myers, or just contact our customer service department (toll-free at 1-866-995-2106) to have your vehicle picked up free of charge.

To donate to Goodwill, your car must be in running and drivable condition. The vehicle must be titled and registered in your name, and completely paid, although we will accept vehicles with proper lien releases from financial institutions.

Before calling 1-866-995-2106 please have the vehicle title in front of you because it contains all the pertinent information. We will also need to know the current mileage of the vehicle.

We offer free pickup Monday through Friday in the Lee county area. Please remember to remove the license tags and all personal items from the vehicle before it is donated.

You will receive a donation receipt once you sign the title over to Goodwill. Please take a copy of the donation receipt, your license tags and registration to DMV as soon as possible to de-register the car. Once it is de-registered, then call your insurance company to cancel coverage (they might want a copy of the donation receipt, too).
