Charitable Planned Giving

Wills & Bequests

Once you take care of your loved ones, please consider The Southwest Florida Goodwill Foundation as an outright or remainder charitable beneficiary of your Last Will & Testament or Revocable Living Trust.  Even Codicils and successor beneficiary designations may be made as your needs change over time. Through your charitable bequest, you can provide a gift that ensures future services for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment and independence.

Sample Bequest Language

"I give, devise, and bequeath to the Southwest Florida Goodwill Foundation headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida, (____ % of my remaining estate, the sum of $_______, a description of the specific asset), for the best possible use of advancing Goodwill of Southwest Florida's mission serving people with disabilities and disadvantages."    If for any reason the mission of Goodwill of Southwest Florida should ever change or cease to exist prior to this bequest being realized, then it is my desire for my bequest to the Southwest Florida Goodwill Foundation be utilized by the Foundation Board and staff in keeping with my original donative intent herein stated."
