Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. is autonomously owned and operated and is governed by a dedicated local volunteer Board of Directors that advises the management team on the overall operation of the organization.

Tom is a graduate of Michigan State University and holds a Masters Degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Michigan. After 30 year’s experience of working for not-for-profit hospitals, 18 of those years as a Chief Executive Officer, he became executive director of the Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan. In 2003, Tom became the President of Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. which serves the five-county area of Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee. Goodwill employs over 400 people in our stores, plant, and administrative offices. Goodwill has increased its programs through housing projects for people with disabilities and providing housing for low-income senior citizens. Goodwill has also started a charter school, L.I.F.E. Academy, for grades 6 through 12 that provides multi-sensory, individualized, innovative programs designed to successfully transition developmentally disabled youth and young adults into
post-school adult living. |
